XQ Lin is a global life sciences executive and company builder, who has lived and worked in the US, China, Singapore, and Europe. As a visionary leader, he has transformed the company over the past two decades into a leading Asia-based global life sciences tools and fertility technologies company.

XQ has a proven ability to spot emerging trends, identify business opportunities, and turn vision into strategy and results. By building high-performing teams, shaping organizational culture, and combining visionary leadership with practical execution, he has led Esco’s expansion into multiple new markets and driven M&A, investment, and spin-off transactions.

In 2021, XQ led the Esco 3.0 transformation, partnering with Vivo Capital and global healthcare investors to amplify Esco’s leadership in life sciences and fertility tools, delivering sustainable technologies that foster a healthier, more equitable, and resilient future.

Passionate about science and innovation, XQ combines strong leadership with hands-on execution and has seeded multiple biotech and life sciences tools startups that advance research and medicine.

Today, XQ serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and is the controlling shareholder of Esco Lifesciences Group. He is driving Esco 4.0, building the company into a rare APAC buy-and-build platform that delivers strong customer value and robust shareholder returns.

XQ holds a B.Sc. in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
