Jason Wang

Jason Wang brings about 30 years of financial leadership experience across multinational companies and SMEs, with a strong background in driving financial strategy, operations, and compliance across diverse industries, including robotics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial automation.

Jason began his career in one of Big 4 accounting firm, and held key management roles in internal audit and FP&A functions within one US-based multinational organisation, where he built in-depth knowledge in financial planning and analysis, accounting as well as internal control and risk management. Over the years, Jason has progressed to senior finance executive positions, leading global and group finance functions, and gaining extensive experience in strategic business support, international operations, and financial management in both family-owned Germany companies and Chinese private companies.

As Esco’s Chief Financial Officer, Jason oversees the Finance function, including FP&A, Finance Controlling and Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Internal Control, as well as Legal function. In addition, he plays a critical role in supporting Esco’s strategic growth initiatives and investment decisions. Jason is committed to strengthening Esco’s financial resilience, supporting business growth, and fostering a culture of transparency and excellence. Having lived and worked in Germany for 10 years, he brings a global perspective that he applies to enhance Esco’s operations worldwide.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as an Associate Certified Chartered Accountant.
