Virginijus Jurkstas

Virginijus Jurkstas is the plant manager for Esco Medical Technologies (EMT) & Europe, leading a team that encompasses production management, customer service, purchasing, warehouse operations, general administration, safety, technical support, and sustaining engineering for EMT. Additionally, he oversees daily operations at Esco Great Britain (EGB), collaborating closely with our operations director.

Virginijus brings 25 years of manufacturing and management experience, with over a decade in senior leadership roles. His expertise spans industries including electronics manufacturing, agricultural machinery, and sheet metal fabrication. He has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, optimizing productivity, and implementing cost-control measures. Before joining Esco, Virginijus held key positions such as Production Manager and Strategic Project Manager in various types of companies from different industries.

In his role, Virginijus oversees manufacturing operations in Lithuania and the UK, focusing on elevating production efficiency, upgrading key personnel, and optimizing processes to align with Esco’s global manufacturing strategy with the ultimate aim to position Esco as a leader in worldwide production standards.

His leadership style is rooted in mutual respect and empowerment. He involves his team in decision-making processes, entrusting them with responsibility and the freedom to determine the best approaches to achieve our goals. He supports a culture of respect and collaboration at all levels of the organization. By developing innovative products and refining operations, he is committed to making our medical business unit profitable while exceeding customer expectations and enhancing Esco’s global reputation for excellence in manufacturing and operational management.

Virginijus holds a Master’s degree in Management and Business Administration from Vilnius University (VU) and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).
